A press set-up charge of $39.00
applies for the second colour (includes wash-up). A run charge
of $0.35 per
calendar applies for the second

Optional stock
colours are available at $35.00

PMS colour match a charge of $65.00 applies. Copy changes are

minimum. Black & White photos
& half-tones @ $33.00 each. Black & white passport photo
is preferred for best
imprint quality. Drop shipment for multiple locations
within Canada is FOB Fergus, Ontario, plus $19.00 handling
charge per additional location.
Re-drawing or touching up of art will incur an extra charge rate
of $35.00 per
half-hour. Plain mailing envelopes
available at $0.29 each, boxed in 100's. Card stiffener available
@ $0.25 each.
Custom printed envelopes are
not offered. ARTWORK: Our
art department is the final judge of what art is
camera-ready. Faxes, photocopies,
business cards, newsprint or art requiring resizing are not camera-ready.
Borders around artwork will not
be printed unless specified.
ARTWORK - DIGITAL: Email artwork to sales@sterlingpromotions.ca
- be sure to include your name and
purchase order number in the
subject line of the email - if possible, a PDF (viewing file)
should accompany the
original emailed art as a screen
reference copy. This helps us determine that nothing in the file
has changed
during emailing but it doesn't
take the place of the original artwork. Please comply with the
following minimum
specifications to avoid additional
art charges:
Documents must be Windows compatible
- WIN 98 or higher. Image resolution must be 300 dpi or higher
at imprint
size.1-colour imprints should
be formatted as EPS, TIFF or JPEG (photos only).
Imprints of 2 colours must be
separated as SPOT colours and saved as EPS files only.
Fonts should be EMBEDDED or transmitted
with the document. All fonts should be converted to curves/outline.
Imprints of 3 or more colours
- call for specifications. For PHOTOS: An original black &
white photo or grayscale
digital photo must be supplied.
Minimum resolution is 300 dpi. Ensure there is good contrast
between the subject
and the background. Lighter backgrounds
work best. The following software applications are acceptable:
Quark Xpress 4.5 or 5.0, PhotoShop
5.5 or 6.0, Corel Draw 12.0, Acrobat 5.0, Adobe Illustrator EPS

Documents should be compressed
using Stuffit or WINzip.
ART PROOFS: Proofs will be supplied on request.
First proof is free. Subsequent proofs are $10.00. First art
proof will be corrected at no
charge. Each subsequent proof will be charged at $15.00. Proofs
should be returned
as soon as possible. Production
time starts when final proof has been received. Proof approvals
must be faxed or
e-mailed - phone approvals will
not be accepted.
ARTWORK CHARGES OR TOUCH-UPS: If your art requires modification or
if you request custom artwork, we
charge at a rate of $35.00 per
half hour. If charge will exceed $60.00, you will be notified
and approval requested
to proceed.
CANCELLATIONS: Cancellation to "work in process"
will be accepted however charges will be accumulated for
work done to date and will apply.
Cancellations for completed orders cannot be accepted.
CHANGES: Changes to work in progress will be accepted;
however charges will be made for work done to date
and a revised ship date may be
given.
ORDERING: You may place orders by email, fax or
mail - complete with artwork (in authorized format). Artwork
orders are only processed once
artwork, quantity, imprint colour and full shipping information
is received. Order
acknowledgment is sent by email
or fax. It is your responsibility to check for accuracy and advise
us of any
omissions or errors within 24
hours. Any changes to an order must be in writing.
OVERS AND UNDERS: We run exact quantities only.
PRODUCTION & SHIPPING
TIME: Commencing August
1st, orders will be printed and shipped within 10 working
days after final proof approval
is received, unless otherwise specified. Orders otherwise specified
will be printed
and stored at no charge prior
to release on the first day of the month in which delivery was
requested.
Calendar production begins June
1st. Please contact us for any orders required before August
1st.
QUOTES: Contact us for quotes on larger quantities.
RETURNS & DAMAGES: Returns are not permitted without prior
approval and any returns are arranged through
us. Any claims for damages must
be made within 10 days. we are not responsible for damages from
any couriers
other than shipments made on
our courier account.
ENVELOPES: White Mailing Envelopes $.25 not inserted,
boxed and sold in 100, 150, 250 only. Envelope size
10 1/2 x 11 1/2 inches.
SHIPPING: F.O.B. Our location. All orders billed
to you and shipped via ground courier. Other shipping methods
charged to your courier account
and are your responsibility. In such instances, courier name,
account number and
phone number must be supplied
at time of order. we are not responsible for delays by courier.
NOTE: You may save shipping costs by picking up your
order (1000 calendars or less) at our Fergus location.
STOCK AVAILABILITY: While every effort is made to ensure
adequate stock for all orders, stock availability
cannot be guaranteed after November
1st. It is recommended that a second choice be included on orders
after
November 1st.
TERMS: Open terms OAC., otherwise, payments may be made
by cheque, Visa, Master Card. COD shipments
are not accepted.
